SYTTENDE MAI FESTIVAL EVENT SUBMISSION

To help ensure a clear, organized, and high-quality festival schedule, the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce has established the following policy for events submitted for inclusion in the official Syttende Mai Festival brochure and website.

Eligibility

Events submitted for listing must:

1. Take place during the Syttende Mai Festival timeframe.

2. Be appropriate for a community festival environment.

3. Add value to the overall festival experience.

Submission of an event does not guarantee inclusion. The Chamber reserves the right to review all submissions and determine whether an event is appropriate and additive to the official festival schedule.

Listing Fees

Event listing fees are determined by whether there is a cost for participants.

• Free Events
  Events that are free for participants to attend or participate in will be listed at no charge in the official Syttende Mai Festival brochure and on the festival website.

• Paid Participation Events
  Events that charge a participation or entry fee will require a $100 listing fee. This fee includes placement in:

  • The official Syttende Mai Festival brochure

  • The Syttende Mai Festival website

Submission Process

All events must be submitted through the official event submission form on the Stoughton Festival website.

Review and Approval

The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce will review each submission to ensure it aligns with the goals and standards of the Syttende Mai Festival. Events that are deemed inappropriate, duplicative, or not additive to the festival schedule may be declined.

Additional Notes

• Listing an event in the festival schedule does not indicate that the event is organized or operated by the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce unless explicitly stated.

• The Chamber reserves the right to edit event descriptions for clarity, length, and consistency with festival materials
