SYTTENDE MAI PARADE ANNOUNCER APPLICATION

We’re looking for a Stoughton Area Student to help announce the Sunday Parade!

The selected student will help the Chamber President in announcing the floats during the parade during the live broadcast on WSTO.

Applicants must:

  1. Be a Stoughton Area School District Student in grades 4 - 12 (for the 2026-27 school year)

  2. Be available from 12:30pm - 3:00pm on Sunday, May 16

  3. Student must have a clear voice and be comfortable and confidence talking and reading out loud while announcing the parade floats.

  4. Submit a video of yourself watching of one of the provided videos and record yourself giving 15 to 30 seconds of commentary. Describe what you see, their energy, or add it any fun facts you might know about the group. Really let your personality shine!

The winner will be selected by the Chamber President, Event Coordinator, and Parade Volunteer Leads. The video of the parade, including commentary, is provided by WSTO and available on their platforms.
